HOW DO I GET ENTRY TO MY UNIT?

With Sturdy Storage, you can enter the facility and your unit at East Knoyle using a four digit code for the main gate and keys as issued prior to or on move-in day or using your own padlock arrangement. We sell suitable padlocks for a small charge from £10 + vat if required.

At Shrewton the main gate is open during normal opening hours.

Both our sites are open and accessible all year except for bank holidays.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M IN MY UNIT AFTER CLOSING TIME?

You can exit your unit and the facility but you cannot re-enter until 8am the following day.

WILL THERE BE ANY EMPLOYEES ON SITE WHEN I ARRIVE?

In most instances we will have set up a convenient time to meet and greet on move-in day and show you to your storage unit and hand over keys as required.
Unless you have previously arranged to meet a member of our team on site, it is unlikely there will be any employees on site when you arrive.

IS THERE ANYONE ON SITE TO HELP ME UNLOAD OR LOAD MY STUFF?

While employees are sometimes on site, you should always plan to unload and pack your items yourself.

ARE THERE ANY STEPS TO ENTER THE FACILITY?

The East Knoyle and Shrewton facility site entrance and yards are at ground level with no steps.

HOW CLOSE CAN I PARK TO MY UNIT?

You will be able to park directly outside your outdoor storage unit whilst for indoor storage it is only a few metres walk to your unit.

ARE THERE ANY DOLLYS OR TROLLEYS AT THE SITE TO AID WITH UNLOADING/PACKING?

There may be dollys or trolleys on site to help you with unloading, but these are not always available and may not be suitable for your needs. Please plan to bring your own assistance if required.

I NEED BOXES AND PACKING MATERIALS. DO YOU SELL THEM?

Not at the moment but we are happy to recommend local companies that do.

CAN I BOOK ONLINE?

Yes you can. Simply follow the online instructions and you can complete your booking.

CAN I BOOK BY PHONE?

Yes, though it will take longer and the lowest available prices are online.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE THERE?

You can pay using any major debit or credit card, including American Express.

CAN I CANCEL BEFORE I MOVE IN EVEN THOUGH I’VE SENT YOU MY PAYMENT DETAILS?

Yes you can. To cancel your booking, either log in to your Sturdy Storage  account online, or call us on 01747 830472. You will not be charged if you cancel before your move in date.

CAN I CHANGE MY PAYMENT CARD?

Yes you can. Log into your Sturdy Storage account, click on 'View Payment Details' and add a new card.

WHAT SIZE STORAGE UNIT DO I NEED?

I WANT TO MOVE OUT AND/OR CANCEL FUTURE PAYMENTS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

The quickest way to move out is to log into your Sturdy Storage account online and cancel. If you require any assistance, call us on 01747 830472.

I WANT TO MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY. CAN I GET A REFUND ON PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE?

You can move out at any time (subject to opening hours). However, payments are made monthly in advance and are non-refundable.

WHERE IS STURDY STORAGE EAST KNOYLE FACILITY?

We are located at Sheephouse Farm, on Hindon Lane between East Knoyle and Hindon, SP3 6BB.

WHERE IS STURDY STORAGE SHREWTON FACILITY?

We are located at Elston Stud with access via Elston Lane, Shrewton, SP3 4HQ next to Appleford School playing fields.
